The Kansas City Chiefs' 2021 season ended on January 30 with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game.

After the loss, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made his way to Las Vegas to participate in the Pro-Bowl.

While in Vegas, Mahomes took a bit of a break from football — minus the Pro-Bowl (if that even counts as football) — to kick back and relax.

Mahomes and his fiancè took in the sights and sounds of Vegas for a few days.

But now that the Super Bowl is over, so is Mahomes' offseason break.

The former Super Bowl MVP tweeted on Monday morning "time to go".

The loss to the Bengals in the AFC Championship game is going to drive Mahomes off offseason long.

"We expect to be in [the Super Bowl] and to win it," said Mahomes after the loss to Cincinnati. "Anything less than that is not success…We'll go back and try to learn from the mistakes we made to be better next year."

Mahomes won't be taking it easy this offseason. The 2022 season is over six months away and he's already back at it, working hard to get better.

A motivated Mahomes should be a scary thought for the rest of the AFC.
