There was plenty of trash talk between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs leading up to the AFC Championship game this past Sunday.

Much of that trash talk revolved around Cincinnati's "Burrowhead" and "they gotta play us" comments that were all over social media last week.

After Kansas City's 23-20 win against the Bengals on Sunday, the Chiefs' official Twitter account fired off numerous tweets in response to the Cincy trash talk.

The first tweet came immediately after the game. KC's official Twitter account sent a tweet with the caption "They had to play us".

They also highlighted tight end Travis Kelce's comments to the Cincinnati mayor.

The trolling continued on Monday afternoon when Kansas City sent a tweet that referenced defensive lineman Chris Jones' comments about not disrespecting Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs won the battle on Sunday night, so they get to take the victory lap this time.

This rivalry, however, is just getting started. We're going to see Joe Burrow vs Patrick Mahomes for the next decade with many of those matchups likely taking place in the postseason. It's gonna be a blast. And the Bengals will have plenty of chances for revenge.
