Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got married over the weekend, which means he's on his honeymoon (destination unknown) this week.
According to his new wife's Instagram stories, the newlyweds are going on their honeymoon from March 15 to March 22.
But that's not stopping Mahomes from keeping up with the Chiefs' moves while he's away.
On Tuesday, Mahomes took to Twitter to acknowledge Kansas City's signing of safety Justin Reid, who is expected to replace fan-favorite Tyrann Mathieu.
I'm sure Mahomes is going to enjoy a nice week away from football with his new wife. But he's still going to take a peek at his phone to see what kind of moves the Chiefs are making while he's away.
Elite quarterbacks never "turn off". Mahomes is living proof.
