Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes posted a video recently that should have KC fans excited.
Mahomes posted a clip of himself throwing with Chiefs rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore with the caption "Skyy is the limit".
Moore was the No. 54 overall selection (second round) by Kansas City in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The former Western Michigan standout was a quarterback/defensive back in high school, but he transitioned to wide receiver in college.
That was clearly the right move, considering Moore now gets to catch passes from Mahomes at the professional level.
The Chiefs have a huge hole on their roster after trading star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason. The hope is that Moore can help fill that void.
Moore doesn't have the same electrifying speed as Hill (the rookie runs a 4.41 in the 40-yard dash), but he's sure-handed, runs good routes and he has a solid history of production.
Mahomes and Moore appear to be working hard to get on the same page, which means they should be extremely familiar with each other when the 2022 season gets underway. And that's great news for Kansas City.
