Will he or won't he?

That's what everybody wants to know regarding Travis Kelce's retirement decision.

And one NFL Insider weighed in on what he's been hearing.

"I contacted a couple of people in the organization on Sunday morning, and was like, 'so, I want to know about the speeches.' And they said Travis cried, but he cried last year. So I was trying to get a gauge on his speech to the team on Saturday night," James Palmer explained. "I was just like, what's your gut? And they were both like, 'my gut tells me this is it, but he hasn't said anything in either direction to anybody here. And we know he loves coming to work, we know he actually enjoys being here in the building.'

"But he mentioned that one part that he doesn't want to half ass it at all. He practices as hard as anybody and he doesn't feel like if he doesn't practice hard and practice that way, he's not giving everything to the team and everything to himself.

Kelce had a slow statistical start to the season that resulted in a lot of criticism from the media and fans. However, Kelce's teammates and coaches praised him for still approaching every day the same. And there was a lot he was doing that didn't show up on the stats sheet.

"The people in the building believe he has lost a step," Palmer added. "They still believe he can completely play, but there's so much on the other side as well. I think there's just a lot really on his shoulders and what's next. Do you keep playing because it's what you know?

"This is a massive decision and it's a massive decision for the organization. Like, Tyreek Hill leaving was one thing. This is a completely other thing for Patrick (Mahomes) and Andy Reid."

Kelce told fans on latest episode of the New Heights podcast that he is going to take some time to figure everything out.

Right now, Palmer and many others are speculating on what might be coming, but we'll have to wait for Kelce's final decision.
