The Kansas City Chiefs are once again being put in the NFL spotlight.

As we all know, the times and dates for the games in Week 18 aren't decided until after Week 17, and on Sunday night we finally got to see what day and time slot the Chiefs would play in.

After winning last week, the Kansas City Chiefs now have to play the Las Vegas Raiders, who put on quite the show against the 49ers this past week. Which, I'm assuming is a huge reason the NFL decided to go in the direction they did.

The Chiefs will be playing on prime time TV on Saturday at 3:30 EST. The game is going to be on ESPN, which only further puts them in the spotlight. Oh, and it's a rivalry game which makes the game even more popular.

I mean, let's face it, when you have Patrick Mahomes, who will likely win MVP this season, you have to put him on national TV, and the Chiefs haven't been on since Week 11 when they beat the Los Angeles Chargers, another division game that went to the wire.

This was the perfect decision by the NFL, plus it isn't a late game, which is great too.
