The Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) are set to face the Los Angeles Chargers (2-3) in Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season. It's the first time they'll play two consecutive games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this year.

Kansas City has five consecutive wins, good for the longest active winning streak in the NFL this season. Los Angeles is coming off a disappointing prime-time loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

According to the folks at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are 5.5-point favorites over the Chargers in Week 7. The over/under point total is 49 points. The Kansas City moneyline is currently listed at -245, giving the Chiefs a 71.01% implied win probability.

Oddsmakers know better than to give these two teams a big point spread. You have to go back to Jan. 1, 2021, to find the last time these two teams met and the game was won by over a single score.

Kansas City has a three-game winning streak against Justin Herbert and Brandon Staley, including a clean sweep of Los Angeles in 2022. With a big loss in Week 6 on "Monday Night Football" they'll be looking for a get-right performance on a short week on the road against AFC West rivals.

The Chiefs will look to keep their winning streak alive after a long week to prepare following their win over the Broncos on "Thursday Night Football." The vastly different scenarios should make for a good game on Sunday afternoon.
