Kansas City Chiefs players are beginning to trickle into the Caesars Dome ahead of their matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Among them is quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is looking to add to his already tremendous legacy. As captured by Fox Sports NFL on X, Mahomes arrived to the stadium wearing a green suit, the same shade of green as the Eagles' uniforms.

Nobody can say for sure what Mahomes' motivation was for his choice of wardrobe, but the color is likely not a coincidence. By now we know Mahomes possesses a Michael Jordan-like mentality, staying hungry and motivated by doubters.

All season long Mahomes and the Chiefs have heard how they don't win in dominant fashion enough and that they are vulnerable. Even after a 15-2 season and making it to their third consecutive Super Bowl, those criticisms have continued through the two week build up to the big game.

Kansas City may be betting favorites to win, but many media analysts have picked the Eagles to win. The Chiefs are also huge underdogs when it comes to the fans as they have grown tired of K.C.'s dominance. Then there's the icing on the cake – which are the endless debates of the Chiefs being beneficiaries of poor officiating.

Players do their best to drain out the noise, but it's impossible not to hear it. Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce even received blatantly disrespectful questions about officiating during Super Bowl Opening Night. These things usually fuel the Chiefs, which is bad news for their opponents.

Premier players such as Mahomes stay determined despite all their success by listening to doubters. He has a constant need to prove himself, and he is driven by not only wanting to be the greatest QB ever, but for being the best he can for his teammates and coaches.
