For Travis Kelce, he has had one main goal since he began his NFL career 13 years ago. And, he’s been lucky enough to achieve it three times.

But, after the way the 2024 season ended, Kelce is more determined than ever.

Specifically, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was asked by reporters at training camp on Wednesday why it’s so important for him to have a high work ethic during training camp.

“Trying to win Super Bowls man,” Kelce simply responded.

“It’s the only way you get there,” he continued. “I think it starts in the offseason, and kind of – when you get out here to St. Joe, and you get into training camp, man, it really signifies coming together, the chemistry (and) the culture you need to have to keep getting better every single day, every single week throughout the year (and) hopefully playing your best football by December, January and February.”

The Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, which was a blowout loss that was a lot harder to get over than any other. But for Kelce, he’s trying to get his team back on top.

“I’ve thrown that thing in the trash,” Kelce told ESPN’s Nate Taylor about the loss. “I’ve moved on. It happened sooner than you can imagine. I was pretty focused on this year in the offseason.”

Kelce contemplated retirement after the loss, but ultimately, he couldn’t bring himself to step away from the game he loved. And with that, he spent the offseason making sure he was in better shape than ever, with many noticing his slimmer figure when training camp began.

Kelce’s eyes are officially set on Super Bowl LX.
