Andy Reid might have a new nickname!

“‘Cupid,’ ‘Big Red.’ It’s all the same,” Travis Kelce said on the Aug. 13 episode of New Heights with Taylor Swift.

So, how did he earn that moniker?

Well, Reid played a huge part in Swift and Kelce’s love story, having even been part of the two meeting.

“Andy Reid recently revealed that he was the one who set you guys up. How true is this revelation by Big Red,” Jason asked Swift and Travis.

“Whatever Andy Reid says, we’re gonna stand by,” Swift responded. “That’s what happened.”

And Travis completely agreed.

However, it seems like it might have been a joint effort between Reid and Swift’s father, Scott Swift.

“He’s been friends with my dad. My dad is the most social man who’s ever been born,” the singer explained. “He’s just a maniac. He will make a friend in an airport in 1971, have a five-minute conversation and still be talking to that dude twice a week now.”

“But he’s like that with everybody,” Swift added. “He’s able to have very many, very meaningful relationships — and it’s a a skill.”

“It’s a mind-boggling talent that I have only known him to have,” Travis cut in.

“He’s a savant,” Swift said proudly. “A social savant, my dad.”

And while the singer wasn’t a huge sports fan, actually knowing very little about the NFL before she began dating Kelce, she was always aware of who Reid was.

“I didn’t really know what the sports were that he was doing, but I knew that that was my dad’s friend Andy Reid,” she added. “I now know that he is the most iconic, legendary coach of all time.”

Reid’s involvement in their relationship is something Swift will treasure forever.

“Thank you Andy, for everything,” Swift said.

Chiefs’ Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes weigh in on Taylor Swift’s New Heights appearance with Travis Kelce hours before its debut

Taylor Swift’s New Heights debut is all anyone can talk about, so it makes sense that Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes were asked about it.

Specifically, Andy was asked if he plans to listen to it

“No, but listen, I’m like, really old,” Reid responded. “My grandkids will be all over it. So I’m happy for him. Yeah, both of them, you know, they like each other. And what a plus that is. You know, they care about each other. And that’s, I think that’s the most important thing. The older you get, you want these guys to have somebody they can settle down with, and that whole deal, and so, you know, I think it’s a neat deal for them, both of them.”

As for Mahomes, he was let in on her guest appearance before the news was revealed, but he had no idea about the album reveal.

“No, it surprised me, too. I mean, I knew before y’all did just because, like, they called me after the podcast was done. They called me – they called Brit (Brittany Mahomes). Me, and I was like, in the back of the FaceTime, but I knew that I’m obviously super excited,” he explained. “I mean, just knowing Taylor (Swift) and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums, it’s going to be amazing, because how much work she puts into it, and what better place to announce (her new album) than the New Heights podcast, where I feel like she can be herself and showcase who she is.

“And I think people are going to be really excited to watch it tonight. I haven’t seen it yet. I’ve seen a little bit of clips, just like everybody else, but I’ll be tuned in tonight at I think it’s 7 p.m. ET, so I’ll be able to have something to watch here on this this night off that I have.”

Mahomes and the rest of the world just have to wait a few more hours before the episode is officially released!
