Travis Kelce jokes about his engagement to Taylor Swift amid Brazilian frenzy before Chiefs-Chargers game
“I got one more ring for it.”
Travis Kelce is in Brazil for the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, and reporters couldn’t help but sneak in one quick question about the tight end’s latest life accomplishment.
Specifically, Kelce was asked how his life has changed recently, and before he could get a word out, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes jumped in with a one-word answer that couldn’t have been any more perfect.
“Engaged,” Mahomes simply said, which earned a chuckle from Kelce.
But then it was Kelce’s turn.
“I got one more ring for it,” Kelce said at a news conference in Sao Paulo ahead of Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. “I would say ever since I’ve been dating Taylor, life has been fun.”
“Obviously, a lot more eyes, and I accept that,” he added. “I’m living life. Living on a high.”
He certainly is.

The star couple announced the big news on Tuesday, Aug. 26, with Swift sharing numerous photos of them in a beautiful garden with flowers all around them on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ?,” Swift captioned the post.
