In 2022-23, the Kansas City Chiefs raised the Lombardi Trophy for the third time in their franchise history and the second time in the Andy Reid – Patrick Mahomes era. The Chiefs won their last one with almost an entirely new group of receivers, including the absence of Tyreek Hill.

Hill is one of the best receivers in the league, if not the best, as we saw for many, many years. It feels like in 2023-24, he has taken an even bigger step, as he is trying to get 2,000 receiving yards in a season, something that has never been done.

When he left the Chiefs by way of demanding a trade, it wasn't something that Chiefs fans saw coming, really. For some reason, it felt like he would always be on the Chiefs. My guess is maybe he is starting to realize that he chose more money over more success, as he is continuing to make up reasons that make him feel better about his situation.

The most recent thing he said, and no, not him, on Robert Griffin III's podcast saying he felt like the side chick, but was him on a soccer show talking about the major differences between the Chiefs and Dolphins.

"The way we practice, the way we play for one another, is something I have never seen before," Hill said on CBS Sports Golazo. "I won a Super Bowl, and I feel like this team is better than the one I won a Super Bowl within KC."

He may be the only player or person that feels that way. The Dolphins are great, but they are still not a team that we think will dominate their way to a Super Bowl. In fact, most people still have this Chiefs team, who is obviously worse on offense, making the Super Bowl. Some have them winning it again without Hill.
