The only drama that surrounds him typically centers on his fiancé, Brittany Matthews, or his brother, Jackson Mahomes. Fair or not, that's just how it is.
Whether it's his fiancé dousing fans in champagne or his brother getting roasted by a Kansas City bar for a bad review, it seems there's always something off-the-field with those two that Mahomes is having to handle.
On Wednesday night, Mahomes and Brittany attended the Texas Tech basketball game. And the two were caught on camera in what appeared to be a brief argument.
If you're a lip reader, it appears that Brittany tells the person beside her "Patrick told me no more resting b—h face".
Definitely awkward.
It makes you wonder what kind of conversations these two have had behind closed doors about some of the "antics" that have taken place at Chiefs games.
After the game, Mahomes noticed that the video was making the rounds on social media and posted a tweet in response.
It wasn't all negative for Mahomes at the Texas Tech game, though. He had some fun cheering on his alma mater while sitting courtside.
The Red Raiders ended up knocking off Baylor 83-73.
