Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft is finally here after months of waiting.

The Kansas City Chiefs fell just short of their three-peat aspirations in Super Bowl LIX, which means they've got a long Thursday night of waiting ahead without the reward of being a champion. Brett Veach’s work in last year’s draft proved instrumental in the team’s ability to maintain competitiveness, but it also fell short at addressing one crucial position. Will he be able to reload for another season as the team looks toward Super Bowl LX? We'll soon find out.

Below, you'll find everything you need to know about the Chiefs' 2025 NFL Draft:

When will the Chiefs pick in Round 1?

Teams have 10 minutes per pick in the first round of the draft. They don't always take the full time allotted to make a pick, but if they did, that's five hours worth of time between pick No. 1 and pick No. 31. That doesn't even include network analysis and commercial time. When the Chiefs selected DE Felix Anudike-Uzomah with pick No. 31 in the 2023 NFL Draft, that pick occurred just before 11:00 p.m. CT. Ideally, things will move quicker this year, but expect the pick to occur between 10:00 p.m. CT and 11:00 p.m. CT. This assumes that the team does not trade up in Round 1 or trade out of the first round entirely.
