The Vikings initially listed nine players on their initial injury report
- CB Fabian Moreau (hip): Did not practice
- DT Jalen Redmond (concussion): Did not practice
- OLB Pat Jones II (knee): Limited
- RT Brian O'Neill (knee): Limited
- DT Harrison Phillips (knee): Limited
- OT David Quessenberry (oblique): Limited
- CB Stephon Gilmore (hamstring): Full
- TE Josh Oliver (wrist): Full
The report doesn't contain many surprises, especially after O'Connell provided injury updates during his Tuesday press conference. However, one late addition did cause some concern.
Dallas Turner late add to injury report
About two hours after the Vikings released their initial injury report, they released an addendum that rookie edge rusher Dallas Turner was limited with a knee injury.
After seeing a lack of playing time during the middle of the season, Turner has seen an influx over the last few weeks, including 34 snaps against the Bears. Those snaps included an excellent sack where he smoked Darnell Wright with a ghost move.
It's worth noting that Turner missed time earlier this year with a knee injury that he suffered against the San Francisco 49ers. He missed the next game against the Houston Texans with the injury.
With both Turner and Jones on the injury report, there is a chance both players could miss the game, which would be brutal against the Seattle Seahawks, who have offensive line issues.
There are still two more days of practice to determine who will and won't play on Sunday afternoon, but being a late add certainly stinks.
