For the first time, Notre Dame will be hosting 2026 Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School wide receiver Bubba Frazier on Friday for a multi-day unofficial visit. He is one of the more dynamic space weapons in the entire class, making some huge plays both as a receiver and runner. The Fighting Irish offered Frazier back in February, and have been in consistent contact since.

Frazier is considered to be a four-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite ranking. He currently sits as the No. 353 overall player, No. 57 wide receiver, and No. 41 player in the state of Georgia for the 2026 recruiting class. The On3 Industry ranking pegs him similarly, sitting as the No. 352 overall player in the class.

The Georgia standout has continued to demand the attention of some impressive programs this offseason. Some of his top offers include the Fighting Irish, Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Virginia, Cincinnati, UCF, and Memphis among others.

While he may only be about 5-10 and 165 pounds, Frazier is dangerous with the football in his hand. He finished the 2024 season with 46 receptions for 753 yards and five touchdowns. Frazier also had another 604 rushing yards and eight scores as a runner, while also returning punts for Benedictine Military School.

Notre Dame needs to get more dynamic at the wide receiver position, and need to find players who can make big plays with the football in their hands. Frazier brings that dynamic to the table. The major question is just how much Mike Brown and the Irish staff will push for the Georgia standout.

As of today, Frazier has just one official visit set up to Wisconsin in June. It will be interesting how things go this weekend in South Bend, and whether a return visit might eventually be in the cards. Frazier isn’t talked about much in Notre Dame circles, but his name does need to start to circulate more.
