One of the Vols' top 2024 commits is four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley.
Beasley, 6-foot/185 lbs from Nashville, TN, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 15 cornerback in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee.
The talented defensive recruit committed to Tennessee last October, but that hasn't stopped teams like Alabama, Auburn, and Notre Dame from pursuing Beasley.
Beasley took an unofficial visit to Auburn in late March. Also in late March, he scheduled an official visit to Notre Dame.
Fortunately of the Vols, it looks like the trip to Notre Dame isn't happening. Beasley told GoVols247 and VolQuest that he's shutting down his recruitment after this recent visit to UT. Beasley specifically told GoVols247 that he doesn't think he'll be taking his official visit to Notre Dame.
Beasley is the third-highest ranked player that's currently committed to Tennessee's 2024 recruiting class. And he's an extremely important player to keep committed since he plays a position of need and he's the top in-state recruit.
It was understandable that Beasley wanted to check out some other options. And it looks like he saw all he needed to see. Tennessee is where his heart is and he's locked into playing for the Vols.

Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Casey Clausen might be one of the most underappreciated players in UT history. Clausen is the only Tennessee quarterback that's beaten Florida twice — doing so in 2001 and 2003 (both times on the road, oddly enough). The former Vols quarterback, who lives in California, spoke with ESPN's Chris Low this […]
