Former Vol takes shot at Josh Heupel after LSU lands commitment from transfer QB Sam Leavitt
A former Vol took a shot at Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel on Monday.
Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman William Satterwhite took a shot at UT head coach Josh Heupel on Monday after the LSU Tigers landed a commitment from Arizona State transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt.
Leavitt committed to LSU over Miami and Tennessee.
Satterwhite, who recently transferred to LSU, posted a photo on his Instagram story of Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin shoving Heupel into a locker. He tagged former Vols offensive lineman Lance Heard in the post (Heard recently transferred to Kentucky).

Satterwhite served as Tennessee’s backup center in 2025.
Tennessee and LSU are scheduled to meet in Knoxville on Nov. 21 next season. There should be plenty of fireworks in that matchup, especially if Leavitt and Satterwhite are on the field for the Tigers.
