National college football analyst predicts the final score of Tennessee vs Kentucky
On3’s JD PicKell predicted this week that Tennessee will beat Kentucky 31-20 on Saturday night in Lexington.
“I think Tennessee is going to be able to run the football against [Kentucky],” said PicKell. “So all those things paired together with just the overall talent advantage Tennessee has, I’ll take Tennessee to win and Tennessee to cover — barring Kroger Field doing what Kroger Field does and making things weird for you. I think Tennessee wins the football game 31-20. So Vols win and Vols cover in Lexington.”
PicKell noted that the one concern he has for Tennessee in this game is that the Vols could suffer a hangover effect from last weekend’s tough loss against Alabama.
Ultimately, though, PicKell thinks Tennessee will be motivated with a spot in the College Football Playoff essentially on the line in each week for the Vols for the rest of the season.
