The Denver Broncos finally got some good news after a brutal week with season-ending injuries, suspensions, and even criminal charges.

While we don't wish a suspension on players, we don't want their livelihood risked, this is a self-inflicting suspension that the Broncos can absolutely capitalize on.

Ian Rapoport helped break the news that the Kansas City Chiefs DE Charles Omenihu will be suspended for his team's first six regular season games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Denver has struggled to take down the kings of the AFC West in Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and can use everything possible to get a boost. Having their defensive without one of their premiere DEs is a win for Sean Payton and the organization and something that the team will undoubtedly gameplan for.

If Denver can stay healthy (knock on wood) and take that important step in the right direction, the sky is the limit for the organization. Payton and the Broncos will be going into Arrowhead Stadium for their week six matchup hoping to finally get a win against Andy Reid and the Chiefs.

Charles Goldman from AtoZ Sports highlighted how the Chiefs will look to navigate after having one of their premiere free agent pick-ups missing time this season.

The suspension should provide some opportunity for some of the team's young defensive linemen to get on the field. Omenihu has been absent from training camp practice for the past two days with calf spasms, leading to players like Joshua Kaindoh, Malik Herring and Felix Anudike-Uzomah to see an increased number of repetitions with the first-team defense.

Broncos fans are hoping Omenihu's absence can be the difference in the matchup.
