Fresh off their bye week, the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts have arguably their toughest test of the season on deck in Week 12. The team will be traveling down to Arrowhead to take on the 5-5 Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are coming off a loss and are trying to avoid falling below .500.

The Colts have the chance to improve to 9-2 on the year and stay in the thick of it in the race to be the top seed in the AFC. They also have the opportunity to put the Chiefs in an even worse position, potentially preventing them from winning their division and possibly even making the playoffs altogether. Before this matchup kicks off, here is some important information about the broadcast you need to know.

Colts hope to continue their success vs. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes has faced the Colts three times in his career, twice in the regular season and once in the playoffs. He’s never beaten the Colts in the regular season. They are actually the last team in the NFL that Mahomes hasn’t beaten in the regular season. He played the Colts in 2019 and 2022, losing both matchups despite the Colts having Jacoby Brissett and Matt Ryan under center.

Mahomes was unable to complete 60% of his passes in either game, and in 2022, he failed to throw for 300 yards, recording only one touchdown with an interception. His only win against the Colts came in the playoffs, which was his first matchup against Indy. It would actually go on to be Andrew Luck’s final game in January of 2019 in the AFC Divisional round. The Chiefs dominated the Colts in that game, 31-13, despite Mahomes not throwing a touchdown.
