Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid continues long tradition of iconic look for head coaches photo at NFL’s annual meeting
It’s Hawaiian shirt season for Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid, who once again posed with the iconic look for the NFL’s annual league meetings in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ brass is in Phoenix, Arizona, for the NFL’s Annual League Meeting taking place from March 29 through March 31.
Clark Hunt, Andy Reid, and Brett Veach are all in attendance as the league meets to discuss a wide range of topics surrounding the upcoming 2026 NFL season. Naturally, that means Coach Reid has busted out his Hawaiian shirt for what has become an iconic and annual tradition.
Andy Reid rocks Hawaiian shirt with the Chiefs logo for the NFL’s annual meeting coaches photo
Every year at the NFL’s annual league meeting, Chiefs HC Andy Reid is among the sharpest-dressed, always wearing his iconic Hawaiian shirts. It has become such a popular look for Big Red that Kansas City’s equipment department actually has whipped up a bunch of Hawaiian shirts branded with the team logo, like the one he’s seen wearing in this year’s photo. He’s one of the few coaches pictured wearing the team logo, along with Jets HC Aaron Glenn.
NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo shared a snapshot of the photo on X (formerly Twitter).
Reid is seen standing beside San Francisco 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan in the back row. I’m a little surprised not to see Coach Reid sitting down for the photo, as he missed the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine while recovering from knee surgery. It should be a good indicator that Reid will be mobile come the rookie minicamp in late April and early May.
Reid wasn’t the only Chiefs member to see his photo taken at the annual league meetings.
Brett Veach makes an appearance in the GM’s photo at the NFL’s annual meeting
NFL head coaches didn’t get to have all the fun at the league’s annual meeting. They’re making a tradition out of an annual GM’s photograph as well. Chiefs GM Brett Veach is also seen standing in the back row on the left side of the GM’s photo. He isn’t looking quite as dapper as Andy Reid, wearing a black polo with no visible Chiefs logo.
Veach is standing beside second-year Jacksonville Jaguars’ GM James Gladstone, the youngest general manager in the league. It’s hard to wonder if the two didn’t talk a little shop ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, perhaps whipping up some trade scenarios? Gladstone wasn’t afraid to pull the trigger on some big moves in his first year as a general manager.
