A win didn't look likely for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening when they trailed the Buffalo Bills by three points with 13 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, however, doesn't care about "likely" scenarios. He got Kansas City in field goal range in two plays. Harrison Butker tied the game with a field goal and Mahomes eventually won the game for the Chiefs in overtime via a touchdown pass to tight end Travis Kelce.
After the game, it was revealed that Kansas City head coach Andy Reid told Mahomes "when it's grim, be the grim reaper".
That's a quote that's going to live forever.
Thanks to that quote, there's a tremendous meme circulating on social media right now that shows Mahomes with the shadow of a grim reaper.

Mahomes will need that grim reaper mentality this weekend in the AFC Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals — quarterback Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are two of the hottest offensive players in the NFL right now.
But then again, so is Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and company.
