The past few months have been pretty amazing for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
From winning the Super Bowl (again) to being part of a Netflix's wildly successful documentary, Quarterback, he's been a busy man. Mahomes joined Marcus Mariota and Kirk Cousins, giving fans a sneak peek involving the ins and outs of the NFL season, both personally and professionally.
The wildly successful Netflix show has been a smash hit, providing fans with never-before-seen access to some of their favorite players across the league. Mahomes, to no one's surprise, might just be as incredible off the field as he is on the field.
Getting an inside look at the Chiefs' Super Bowl run is something fans won't soon forget, all the trials and tribulations the team went through for Mahomes to rise up and once again hold the Lombardi will now live forever.
During a panel discussion with Mariota and Cousins, after the release of the show, the trio talked all things football and the success of the show. A short clip of the panel went viral when the conversation of who the most underrated quarterback in the league is, with Mahomes and Mariota not holding back.
Within milliseconds of being asked, Mahomes pointed to his left, at Kirk Cousins.
"I think this guy right here is," Mahomes said confident;y.
He continued, gushing over COusins and what he's been able to do relatively under the radar, and how he compares with other quarterbacks in the league.
"I mean, if you look at Kirk over here man, wins every year, puts up great stats. Did it in Washington, does it in Minnesota. Talk to any other quarterbacks in the league and they're going to say the same thing."
Mariota, with the same sentiment, furthered why Cousins is one of the most underrated players in the entire league.
"I agree with that. I've been in a few systems and a few coaches and a lot of the tape that we would watch is Kirk. A guy, consistently, year in and year out continues to prove why he's one of the best quarterback's in the league.
While unlikely, Mahomes was brilliant in the Netflix documentary and we absolutely wouldn't mind seeing him for another season.
