The Vikings are in a great position heading into the NFL Draft, as they don't have a single dire need remaining. That gives Adofo-Mensah the flexibility to make a number of different moves and utilize different strategies, which is exactly what he wants to be able to do.

Vikings trade pick 24
Vikings send pick 24 to the Jacksonville Jaguars for picks 36, 88, 107, and 142.
This would be a big win for the Vikings in terms of value, especially since they've only won one trade down across the board in the Adofo-Mensah era and that was the trade with the Green Bay Packers where they selected Christian Watson.
36. Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
When I researched how Adofo-Mensah has approached the first round and the NFL Draft in general, he had stayed away from group of five players in the first round. After doing some research, they only had a "realistic" chance to draft a group of five player twice:
- 2022: Logan Hall and Christian Watson went the next two picks
- 2024: Quinyon Mitchell could have been the pick over Dallas Turner
Revel might not be from a power four school (although Alabama allegedly wanted him to transfer), he played like he was from one. His incredible size, speed, and ball skills will translate to the National Football League right away.
The only question with Revel is the torn ACL that he suffered during practice in September. Theoretically, Revel should be ready for training camp and maybe even minicamp.
88. Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona
Getting help on the offensive line should be a priority for the Vikings at some point in this draft. With the news that Michael Jurgens will be competing at left guard with Blake Brandel, a center might be a better option. However, adding competition at left guard in the draft with tackle versatility isn't a bad idea. Savaiinaea can do that, having mostly played tackle at Arizona, but his skillset is better suited for guard.

97. Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
The safety position needs some depth added to it and you could argue it's more of a major need with the Vikings' futures of Josh Metellus and Harrison Smith. Mukuba is a ball-hawking safety who thrives playing center field and would be a more athletic version of what Camryn Bynum brought to the Vikings.
107. Jamaree Caldwell, DT, Oregon
This is a really good defensive line class and getting one, especially with seven picks, should be a priority, potentially early on. Caldwell is a true nose tackle who torques his frame really well against double teams and has some juice rushing the passer.
139. Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State
Wide receiver is an interesting position for the Vikings. They arguably have the best wide receiver duo in the National Football League, but it's questionable after them. They could use some size and YAC ability and get the former with Horton. He was a productivity machine at both Nevada and Colorado State with the ability to play all three positions, something that is huge with how O'Connell calls his offense.
142. Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
If you've been following me for any length of time, you know that Riley is my favorite prospect in this class. His fluidity, patience, and ball skills are superb and he will be a steal if he makes it to day three. Riley might be a little small, but he's got the goods.
187. Danny Stutsman, LB, Oklahoma
Athletic linebacker who plays with a cowboy collar? Count me in with Stutsman. He profiles to be a guy who can be a three-down linebacker and at worst, be a quality depth guy and special teams player.
