The Washington Commanders look to keep the momentum going after getting its first road win of the season, but now they’re going back home to host the Chicago Bears.

Every NFC matchup counts when you start tallying wins for the playoffs, and this one could decide the Commanders’ fate down the road. You can’t afford to lose the games you’re supposed to win, especially at home.

We can only hope that this game doesn’t come down to a last-second Hail Mary like it did last season, but this still has all the makings of an entertaining game.

Bears vs Commanders Breakdown

The Bears are coming off an early bye week, so they have an extra week of rest and preparation before they hit the road to face the Commanders. Washington turned the page against the Los Angeles Chargers with Jayden Daniels coming back, and the defense finally played how we expected them to.

The Commanders are the top rushing offense in the league with 156.4 yards on the ground per game, led by rookie phenom Bill Croskey-Merritt, and they have a huge advantage on Monday. The Bears can’t stop the run, and they’ve allowed the second most rushing yards per game at 164.5 yards, and allow 29 points per game.

It could be a big week for the offense, especially if Terry McLaurin returns from his injury. The Bears do seem to be getting corner Kyler Gordon back this week for the first time this season, which would be a massive boost for their defense. The injury report will be heavily watched on both sides this week.
