A former Tennessee Vols wide receiver entered the NCAA transfer portal this week for the second time since the end of the 2024 regular season.

Former three-star wide receiver Nate Spillman entered the NCAA transfer portal back in December — before the Vols' College Football Playoff matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Spillman, who was born in Sierra Leone in West Africa, transferred to UNC-Charlotte in late January.

On Tuesday, Spillman re-entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Spillman didn't record any receiving stats during his first two seasons at Tennessee.

The former Lipscomb Academy standout is the older brother of Vols redshirt freshman linebacker Edwin Spillman.
