ESPN's Matt Miller thinks former Tennessee Vols running back Dylan Sampson will be selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

And Miller thinks Sampson will land in a dream scenario.

Miller has the Kansas City Chiefs selecting Sampson with the No. 63 overall pick (round two) on Friday.

From ESPN: There was a drum beat of support from Chiefs fans for a running back early in this draft. Now they can get one with the uber-productive Sampson. His outside speed and vision, plus hands in the receiving game, are what Kansas City's offense has been missing in the screen and run game.

Sampson to the Chiefs is a move that would make a lot of sense for both sides.

For starters, Sampson is big play waiting to happen. His elite field vision and speed could bring a big play element to the Chiefs' offense that's been missing in KC for the last couple of seasons.

Secondly, Sampson is an ideal culture fit for Kansas City. The Louisiana native is a team-first guy who was a key leader for the Vols. Sampson's focus is on winning, and that's what the Chiefs, as a franchise, are all about.

Sampson, essentially, is the running back version of Chiefs offensive lineman (and former Vol) Trey Smith — a true dog who competes at the highest level 365 days a day.

We'll see how the second round of the draft plays out, but I'm sure Sampson would love to go to a winning franchise like Kansas City.
