The Notre Dame coaching and recruiting staff have been on quite a roll lately. They have received commitments from defensive ends Rodney Dunham and Ebenezer Ewetade, and offensive lineman Gregory Patrick recently. That recruiting momentum is only going to continue for the foreseeable future.

With several talented 2026 recruits with decisions on the horizon, here are some key targets for Fighting Irish fans to know. To make things fun, I predicted the next five commitments in the class for Notre Dame. It would be a very impressive list of commitments.

RB Javian Osborne – Forney (Texas) High School

Osborne will be selecting between both Notre Dame and Michigan on May 3rd. If you pay attention closely to Twitter activity and the actions, you know that the Fighting Irish are in a great spot. Barring a drastic change, Osborne looks like the next great running back heading to South Bend, and his game is extremely similar to former NFL star LeSean McCoy.

DT Tiki Hola – Bastrop (Texas) High School

At 6-2 and 285 pounds, Hola is incredibly strong and physical at the point of attack. Hola has the physical profile to be over 300 pounds very early on in his college career. The Texas native is set to make his college decision on May 10th, and is battling SMU and USC for his services.

WR Bubba Frazier – Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School

This Notre Dame program needs to find more wide receivers that make dynamic plays in space. Frazier is absolutely electric with the football in his hands. The 5-10, 165-pound pass catcher is trending quickly toward the Irish. He feels like the most likely fit into the wide receiver class right now.

TE Evan Jacobson – Waukee (Iowa) High School

Notre Dame is interested in bringing in two tight ends in the 2026 recruiting class, and it looks like they are in the best spot with Jacobson right now. At 6-7 and 220 pounds, Jacobson has the frame to develop into an inline threat as a blocker. With his combination of size, catch radius, and smoothness, his game is very similar to former Irish star Kyle Rudolph.

CB Joey O’Brien – Glenside (Pa.) La Salle College

There aren’t many more talented athletes in the 2026 recruiting class than O’Brien. Some schools view him as a safety, while others like him at wide receiver. The Irish staff likes him at cornerback. Notre Dame will continue to battle Penn State, but have a strong chance to win out in the end.
