It's unclear what quarterback Aaron Rodgers will do about his career and his future in the NFL. However, it's becoming more and more obvious by the day. This week, during a Q&A with fans and artist Mike, formerly known as Mike Stud, in Austin, Texas, there was a hint about his upcoming decision.

Asked if he would ever play for Chicago, talking about the Bears franchise, Rodgers had an intriguing answer.

"No, but I believe there's a team that might play in Chicago for a road trip, I don't know," Rodgers said. "I love Chicago though, way more than they love me. It's been a great relationship."

To be fair, both the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints also play the Bears in Chicago this season. More likely, though, the veteran quarterback is talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers go to Chicago for an early Sunday afternoon game in Week 12, at Soldier Field. It would feel natural for Rodgers, who's played there many times throughout his career with extreme success. Rodgers played 30 games against the Bears, including playoffs, with 25 wins and five losses.

Recently, Aaron Rodgers told Pat McAfee that he hadn't made a final decision about his future because he was prioritizing personal matters. To Joe Rogan, Rodgers revealed that some people around him are battling cancer.

Realistically, it's fair to say that Rodgers wants to wait and spend his offseason time with the people who are important to him. And when it's time to make a final call, the quarterback would be ready to fully commit to the Steelers.

At this point, there isn't a definitive answer—and Mason Rudolph is projected to start at quarterback for Pittsburgh. But it's hard to imagine that this scenario won't change before Week 1. The sooner it happens, the better for the Steelers.
