After all of the offseason moves the Las Vegas Raiders made, they are pretty much done, barring anything crazy happening this offseason. Now, something crazy could happen, like a trade for Miami Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey, for example.

But, besides that, it feels like the Raiders are done making moves to bring any external pieces onto the team. After bringing on guys like Jeremy Chinn, Elandon Roberts, Geno Smith, Raheem Mostert, and others, the Raiders still had a ton of cap space to use, and that is included with the rookie contracts that they gave out, all of which are signed now.

They had the fifth-most cap space in the league at $36 million. Yes, had, as that's not the number they have available anymore. Considering that they may just be done spending money unless Kolton Miller gets an extension, they used some of it to repay back one of their best players that doesn't get talked about enough.

Raiders give punter A.J. Cole contract extension

It came out of nowhere, but that's probably the feeling we get because the punter isn't the first thing we often think about, especially when it comes to the money they get and are worth. But for the Raiders, A.J. Cole may be the best in the league at what he does, so of course he's worth an extension.

According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, the Raiders have given Cole and extension of a four-year extension worth $15.8 million with $11 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid punter in the NFL. So, that has Cole under contract with the Raiders for the next five years, as he had a year left on his deal.

Cole followed up the report with a tweet of his own that said he was a Raider for life, only making fans love the guy more. He's the best in the league at what he does, and the Raiders acknowledge that.
