The Florida Gators have been red hot on the recruiting trail. Going into their third weekend filled with official visits, the Gators have gotten five commitments in the month of June with seven overall commitments.

Head coach Billy Napier has continued that momentum at the beginning of this weekend's list of official visits, landing the commitment of four-star running back Carsyn Baker.

RB Carsyn Baker commits to Florida Gators

This is a big one for the Gators, who now have a commit at every position on offense thus far with the commitment of Baker. We knew something was up with Baker and the Gators for some time.

At the end of May, the Gators received an expert prediction to land Baker, but it was his decision to take an official visit this weekend one week after visiting Florida State that sent fireworks up into the air. It only took a few hours into the weekend for the Gators to get the commitment from Baker.

The Langston Hughes product out of the state of Georgia is On3 Sports' 10th-ranked running back and 135th overall recruit. He's got a really nice track and field resume as well, with a 10.65 100-meter dash. His scouting report from 247 Sports highlights a player who can do a lit with his speed, including utilizing tempo.

Physically imposing upright runner hovering a shade under 6-foot-1, 195 pounds with a blazing track and field profile. Finished his junior season with three straight 100+ yards performances, culminating with a three-touchdown effort in the GHSA AAAAA state final against national powerhouse Milton. Finds success running outside/wide zone, quickly finding a crease and reaching his top-end gear that the majority of Friday night defenders can not match. Consistently creates explosive plays when given a lane and limited contact at the first two levels. Improved as a junior when lowering his pads in short-yardage and "have to have it" scenarios. Will finish through contact when necessary. Offers value as a receiver out of the backfield and has the physical build to develop into a three-down back. Still rounding out his skillset, but has the traits to develop into a quality P4 starter on Saturdays before potentially earning NFL Draft consideration.

The Gators have a really good start to their recruiting class, and Baker is the latest addition.
