Neal is a talented running back who isn't the greatest athlete. What he does possess is a really good, diverse ability to play the position. A true three-down running back, Neal can do a little bit of everything.
If the Vikings wait until the third round or later to take a running back, Neal would be a solid choice for them. He would theoretically be a slightly bigger version of Aaron Jones, and we've seen how much he can thrive in the system.
Selecting Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson in the NFL Draft would take Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell’s offense to the next level
Henderson would be a home run pick for the Vikings
Kansas State RB D.J. Giddens would be the perfect selection with the Vikings’ 3rd round compensatory pick
He’s the perfect fit for what the Vikings like to do
