Burrow will be featured along with Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins, who also appeared on season one, and Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff.

Interestingly enough, Burrow was asked back in July of 2023 if he would consider taking part in season two of the series following the season one debut. He said he would not be in the next installment for 2024.

"Maybe one year, this year, I'm not," Burrow responded. "I would like to do it maybe a couple years down the road, but I don't think now is the right time."

And he was right. Burrow did in fact not take part of the second season of Netflix's docuseries.

Because the second season did not involve quarterbacks.

Netflix's 2024 version of the series was titled, "Receiver," and it followed pass-catchers Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

So, aside from saying "a couple years down the road," Burrow wasn't really lying here. Cheeky? Absolutely, but he knew the '23 season wasn't even going to feature his position.

There's reason to believe Burrow knew he was next up when QBs were going back to the spotlight. Former Bengals QB Boomer Esiason revealed in August, just three weeks after Burrow's comments, that Burrow would be apart of Netflix's series. He, like Burrow, just didn't specify what year it would be.

Officially, the ins and outs of Burrow's 2024 season will be for the world to see later this year with a Netflix subscription.

This is a bit surprising considering how Burrow has always been clear about his preference for privacy. He has worked on growing his brand in recent years, and this surely will help with that.

Expect an official release date announcement to follow in the coming weeks from Netflix.
