The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner. Literally, it's less than a month away, and the Las Vegas Raiders have a huge decision to make, one that we really have no idea where it will end up. There are so many possibilities at pick No. 6.
Yet, it feels like the majority of people think it will be Ashton Jeanty, the Boise State running back. They need a running back desperately, as they had a historically bad run game in 2024. So, that's why people are linking Jeanty to them, especially now that former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is now a Las Vegas Raider.
The Raiders have a ton of needs, though, and just because Jeanty is a big need-filler, and a flashy name, does not mean that's the pick. Regardless, most of the NFL Draft gurus think he will be going to Las Vegas. In fact, I have created a tracker, one that will follow mock drafts put out by some of the biggest names in the NFL Draft world. Guys like Daniel Jeremiah, Bucky Brooks, and Mel Kiper — I've thrown them all together in an article with what pick they have the Raiders making in their latest mock draft. And, when they change their pick, it will be changed here.
So, lets take a look at where they all stand at this current moment.
Dane Brugler, The Athletic
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: "The Raiders are in the market for playmakers. Ideally, one of those playmakers would be a quarterback, but adding Jeanty to Chip Kelly’s offense would vastly upgrade a unit lacking an identity."
Date: March 4
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: "New Raiders head coach Pete Carroll wants to punish opponents with a physical running game sparked by a dynamic back."
Date: March 25
Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: "The Raiders can take some pressure off of Geno Smith by adding Jeanty, who is one of the top three players in the draft."
Date: March 18
Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: "Elusiveness. Speed. Physicality. Vision with the ball in his hands. Jeanty really has it all, rushing for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns last season. Plus, he has some pass-catching upside, with 66 catches over the past two campaigns. The Raiders were last in rushing last season, averaging 3.6 yards per carry and 79.8 per game. Jeanty would change everything there and create a solid offensive nucleus with Smith, Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers."
Date: March 18
Mike Renner, CBS Sports
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: "They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well, Pete Carroll isn't going to stop prioritizing the running back position just because he took a year away from the NFL. Ashton Jeanty, the best running back prospect since at least Bijan Robinson, immediately gives the Raiders a formidable rushing attack."
Date: March 17
Joel Klatt, FOX Sports
Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Analysis: "Adding Graham would bolster an already strong defensive line, putting him with Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins. That might be the most disruptive defensive line in football with Graham, and you need that to beat Mahomes."
Date: March 17
Nate Tice and Charles McDonald, Yahoo Sports
Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (via mock trade with New England Patriots up to No. 4)
Analysis: "Trade! Although Sanders' standing as QB2 is still up for grabs, the Raiders decide to get their guy of the future. A vet QB may still be an option, but the Raiders decided no more half-measures at the position and get themselves a player to commit to under a new regime."
Date: March 13
Justin Churchill, A to Z Sports
Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: The Raiders had a historically bad offense in 2024, and knowing Pete Carroll, the Raiders will surely want to run the ball a ton in 2025. Getting the best running back in the best running back class would be a good start, especially when you look at what their RB class currently looks like
Date: March 31
Josh Edwards, CBS Sports
Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Analysis: "Las Vegas made an aggressive move to acquire veteran quarterback Geno Smith, but the collection of pass catchers leaves a lot to be desired. Tetairoa McMillan is a bigger body that does offer some ability to play in the short to intermediate as well."

The Raiders may be switching it up.
