Will he or won't he?
That's the question surrounding Travis Hunter and whether he will still be available as the 2025 NFL Draft draws closer. However, based on the latest reports, it does not seem like he will be on the New England Patriots roster next season.
So, that makes it the perfect time for a new A to Z Sports 7-round Patriots mock draft.
Let's get started:
4th Pick: LSU LT Will Campbell

At this point, it almost seems like a done deal that Will Campbell will be with the New England Patriots next season. If Hunter or Penn State edge Abdul Carter were still available, that talent would be too hard to pass up. However, based on the offseason acquisitions of the top three teams, it seems fairly certain that Hunter and Carter will go to the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants respectively.
If that's the case, the Patriots should look to fill their biggest need on the roster at the moment, which is a starting left tackle. Campbell's arm length has been called into question, with many wondering if he is a truly a NFL tackle or a guard. But, his reputation at LSU along with what he has put on film is enough to make him a solid fit for New England.
38th Pick: Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins

While the coaching staff has expressed faith in Rhamondre Stevenson despite his struggles last season, it also would make sense for them to add a young running back. And Quinshon Judkins certainly seems like he'd be a good fit in Mike Vrabel's scheme.
69th Pick: Ohio State EDGE Jack Sawyer

If we're talking about another player that seems like the perfect guy for Vrabel, it's Sawyer. He showcased what he's capable of during Ohio State's National Championship run, also displayed the type of person he is off the field. He's a solid pass rusher and would be a great addition in the room with some of the other veteran players the Patriots have added this offseason.
77th Pick (via ATL): Texas WR Isaiah Bond

Patriots receivers struggled to create separation last season, so Bond's speed could certainly help with that. He finished at 4.34 seconds in the 40-yard dash at his pro day. Bond has also been lauded for his route running and good hands.
106th Pick: Texas TE Gunnar Helm

In my first mock draft I had the Patriots taking Gunnar Helm at this exact spot, and there's been no change.
While the Patriots have Austin Hooper and Hunter Henry on the roster, along with 2024 seventh round draft pick Jaheim Bell, this tight end draft class is very talented and New England could look to bring in someone that they can develop.
144th Pick: University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) CB Zah Frazier

Frazier is someone who ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid has as a day three sleeper. He's long and athletic, having speed and good ball skills. However, he will benefit from a NFL weight program, as he's only 188 pounds at 6-foot-3. That's why he's a solid later round option, where the Patriots could bring him in and develop him for the future.
171st Pick (via DAL): BYU OT Caleb Etienne

With the Patriots' big need at left tackle, it would make sense to draft two rather than one. A to Z Sports' Charles Goldman provided a scouting report on Caleb Etienne.
"At 6-foot-8 and 320 pounds, Etienne has the size and frame to be a starting tackle in the national football league. He went from being among the lowest-ranked offensive linemen in BYU history from an advanced analytic standpoint to an All-Big 12 First-Team selection in 2024, starting all 14 games at left tackle. He allowed 23 total pressures on the season, including three sacks, and he vastly improved as a run-blocker."
220th Pick: Miami K Andres Borregales

Special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer confirmed on Friday that the Patriots will be adding another kicker to compete with John Parker Romo, and at this point it seems likely that they could turn towards the draft. While there is a chance he might not get selected and could be available as an undrafted free agent, Borregales is the best kicker prospect and New England shouldn't risk losing him.
238th Pick (via LAC): Boston College C Drew Kendall

Currently on the roster, the Patriots have two clear centers – Garrett Bradbury and Ben Brown. Vrabel has also made it clear that they are going to allow Cole Strange the opportunity to develop there after he was moved later last season. However, they could look to bring someone in that would be more of an option in the future, and Kendall should be that person. He is a local player who worked under Bill O'Brien, which just so happens to be a close friend of Vrabel's.
