According to Tony Pauline, the Colts will be hosting State offensive lineman Jackson Slater. Slater was a three-year starter at Sac State at left guard and even lined up at left tackle for nearly 200 snaps in his first season at the school. After allowing two sacks in 2022, Slater never allowed another in college during his final two seasons. In fact, he only allowed one quarterback hit and 12 QB hurries during his final two seasons after allowing three QB hits and 11 hurries during his first year.

Slater's strong finish to his career speaks for itself, but he followed it up with a strong performance at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He impressed teams in interviews but also put on a show during on-field drills. He finished as one of the most athletic offensive linemen in attendance with a 9.37 RAS after an impressive 5.01 40-yard dash, 9' broad jump, and 31 reps on the bench press.
