The Detroit Lions held their local pro day on Tuesday. The local pro day is when the Lions invite players who are from the area to come in and work out for them. For some, it's like getting a second or third chance to show what they've got, and for others, this may be their one and only chance to do so.

Here's who the Lions had out and some background on them. We will continue to add to this list as more names become available.

Peny Boone, RB, Central Florida

The Martin Luther King grad is coming off a season in which he dealt with injuries, but in 2023, he ran 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns for Toledo. Those two stat lines led the MAC conference.

Griffin Milovanski, K, Wayne State

The Saugatuck grad went 12-18 for Wayne State just right across the highway from Ford Field this year. He had a long of 48 yards against Roosevelt.

Da'Raun McKinney, DB, Central Michigan

McKinney went to River Rouge High School and had a solid season for the Chippewas last year. He had 11 pass breakups to go with 54 tackles and a sack.

Blake Daniels, TE, Eastern Michigan

Daniels went to L'Anse Creuse North. He initially went to Davenport  University and was a quarterback there. He transferred to Eastern Michigan in 2023. At 6-foot-6, he has some potential to be a guy who can be molded into different spots.

Peyton Price, DT, Eastern Michigan

Price is not a local guy, but he plays at a local college. He had a really good season for the Eagles last year with 53 tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Muftah Ageli, DT, Northwest Oklahoma State

Ageli is from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He's a big guy at 6-foot-2 and 310 pounds. He could be a nose tackle in the NFL. Last year he had 34 tackles, one sack, and an interception.

Maliq Carr, TE, Houston

Spartan fans will remember the former Oak Park tight end playing for Michigan State for three seasons. He transferred to Houston last year. He's a blocking tight end, so there's not much production of note for him.

Dorian Mausi, LB, Auburn

Went to Detroit Jesuit High School. Spent four seasons at Duke before transferring to Auburn. Had a killer season there in 2024 with 81 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups. Had a big 10 tackle game against Alabama in the Iron Bowl.

Josh Priebe, OL Michigan

Preibe went to Edwardsburg High School near Niles. Preibe had a really solid season for the Wolverines last year. He allowed 10 pressures and no sacks as the team's starting left guard.

Ali Saad, DL, Bowling Green

Saad is from Windsor as well. He's coming off the best season of his four years with Bowling Green. He had 40 tackles and 4.5 sacks there. He also forced two fumbles.

Luke Newman, OL, Michigan State

He went to Holy Cross High School and then went to Holy Cross College before transferring to Michigan State for his final season. It was a good one. He allowed just nine pressures and no sacks at their starting left guard.

Chrsition Carter, TE, Northern Illinois

Carter went to Detroit Country Day. He played a Howard to start and then transferred to Northern Illinois, where he mostly played on special teams.

Spencer Brown, OL, Oklahoma

Brown went to Walled Lake High School and spent four seasons with Michigan State before transferring to Oklahoma for his senior year. He started all 13 games for them and allowed 18 pressures and two sacks.

Maverick Hansen, DT, Michigan State

Hansen went to Harrison High School in Farmington Hills. He played at Michigan State for five seasons as a defensive tackle and was a decent run stopper there. He did not start, though.

William Wagner, LS, Michigan

The Lions have their long snapper in Hogan Hatten, but here's a guy who can present some camp competition.

Jacquez Stewart, RB, Toledo

Stewart is not local in the sense that he's from Detroit, but from nearby Toledo. He's coming off a season where he was an All-MAC kick returner.

Myren Harris, RB, Davenport

Harris when to Chippewa Valley High School. Last year he ran for 849 yards and six touchdowns. He was named GLIAC Offensive Back of the Year.

Tyrone Broden, WR, Arkansas

Broden went to West Bloomfield High School. He transferred from Bowling Green to Arkansas in 2023 and got to see some game time in the SEC in 2023 and 2024, but not a whole lot. Still, at 6-foot-7, you have to wonder what's there.

Anthony Torres, TE, Toledo

Another Toledo guy. Torres is coming off a nice season with 31 receptions for 404 yards and nine touchdowns. he was invited to play in the Hula Bowl.

Aamir Hall, CB, Michigan

Hall transferred to Michigan for the 2024 season and had a strong year with 38 tackles, four pass break ups and two interceptions. He had a huge bowl game against Alabama with nine tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup.

Devin Veresuk, LB, Windsor

Another Canadian prospect. He had 74 tackles and two pass breakups last season.

Kobe King, LB, Penn State

King went to Cass Tech with his brother and Packers cornerback Kalen King. Last season, King was second-team All-Big-Ten. He had a formal meeting with the Lions at the NFL Combine. King is projected to go in the fifth round.

Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo

Alexander was first team All-Mac, played in the Senior Bowl, and was invited to the NFL Combine. This is a sneaky prospect to watch for sure. He's currently projected to go in the second round.

Cole Snyder, QB, Eastern Michigan

Snyder is coming off a strong year for the Eagles. He threw for 2,684 yards, 15 touchdowns, and four interceptions in 2024.
