Jaxson Dart has a huge opportunity to be the best quarterback at the Combine because of decisions by Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward

Jaxson Dart has had a roller coaster of a season. If you asked most people last summer who their top-ranked quarterback in the 2025 class was, a majority of people would have named Dart as their guy. With a bit of an up-and-down season, the conversation on his draft stock has been all over the place.
The consensus is that Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward have him passed, but I've seen a wide range of potential outcomes for Dart. With Sanders already electing to not throw this week and it reportedly being "uncertain" if Ward will, Dart has a massive opportunity to stand out during the Scouting Combine.
Our own Travis May, who is the true conductor of the Jaxson Dart hype train, was pounding the table for Dart all throughout the 2024 college football season. He firmly believes that the consensus is far too low on him. I asked him why. Here's what he said.
“Jaxson Dart posted the most impressive meaningful metric profile among all FBS college quarterbacks in 2024. He finished first in yards per play, total yards per game, and top five in EPA/play, adjust yards per pass attempt, and more. He may not have elite raw first round arm talent, but he has everything else. Overblown schematic concerns have many far too low on Dart,” May said.
Dart might not have a huge arm, but he's accurate to all levels of the field, decisive, and has a good frame at 6'2" 226 lbs. If both Sanders and Ward take a seat at the Combine, Dart will have a huge opportunity to put on a show with all the eyes on him.
