The Oklahoma Sooners have been on fire a bit when it comes to recruiting. They are lining up official visits left and right for some really elite players, players that would change the entire dynamic of their class. Right now they sit in the top 20 for 2026 and they are only going to get better, hopefully.

They are already trying to get another quarterback for the 2026 class, paired with Jaden O'Neal, who has been committed for a while now. And, the Sooners will be first in line with a chance to prove why he should go to Oklahoma in 2026.

Bowe Bentley is a top high school quarterback from Celina High School in Celina, Texas, in the class of 2026. As a four-star recruit, he led the Celina Bobcats to a 16-0 record and a Texas Class 4A Division I state championship in 2024, his first year as a starter.

He threw for 3,211 yards and 47 touchdowns on 171 of 245 passes (70% completion), with only seven interceptions. In the state title game against Kilgore, he threw for 265 yards and five touchdowns, earning offensive MVP honors.

Colleges are all over him after his big junior season. He’s got the size and skills schools want. He’s ranked as high as the No. 11 quarterback in the country and No. 28 overall in Texas. Over 25 Division I programs, including Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas Tech, and Georgia Tech, have offered him scholarships.

He’s set to visit Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, and Georgia Tech this spring, with Oklahoma being a favorite since he was a kid. And, they have the first visit on his visit schedule, which means they are first in line to prove why he should go there.

Bentley’s a leader with a strong work ethic and good character, according to his coaches. Heading into his senior year, his recruitment is picking up fast, and he’s got the talent to make a big impact at the next level.
