NFL Draft analyst says that Jalen Milroe has a chance to do what Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray couldn't at 2025 NFL Combine

Jalen Milroe has been on a roller coaster ride for the last six months.
Going from being a Heisman Trophy frontrunner after beating the Georgia Bulldogs and generating first-QB off-the-board buzz to having an end-of-season regression and rough week at the Senior Bowl, Milroe needs one more splash to get him back into the good graces of teams.
According to Joe DeLeone and Ryan Roberts of A to Z Sports Film Room, he has a golden opportunity to do just that at next week's NFL Combine…
Milroe Can Blow Teams Away with 40 Yard Dash Time
"I also really, really hope that Jalen Milroe runs a 40, because if he puts up a crazy number, which we know that he can, that could be significant for driving the case for him to go somewhere in the first round," said Joe DeLeone of A to Z Sports Film Room.
"We missed out a few years ago on Lamar Jackson testing because he just wanted to throw the combine," added Ryan Roberts.
"We also didn't get Kyler Murray or Jayden Daniels. So some of these guys that are really freaking fast. I want a crazy quarterback 40 time. That's all I'm asking for" said DeLeone.
"Which will probably not happen, because I'm sure Jalen Milroe is just going to focus on throwing the football in Indianapolis, but a guy could hope. I want to see something crazy. He's one of the best athletes at the quarterback position that we have seen come out in several years," finished Roberts.
Milroe needs to have a good throwing session. After struggling to place the ball for the first two days of the Senior Bowl, accurate throws that also display his velocity will bode well for him.
But if he really wants to win the Combine and come away as the talk of Indy, he has to get into a sprinter stance and get out the blocks. There were times at Alabama where Milroe didn't only look like, but actually was the fastest player on a field of SEC athletes that will one day turn pro.
A solid week in Indy builds momentum heading into his Pro Day and of course, April's NFL Draft. Milroe is going to dominate in meetings and interviews. If he can throw with some touch and run a time that matches his game speed, he'll be right back in the round one convo.
