The Philadelphia Eagles wrapped up their final practice ahead of Super Bowl LIX versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
Every single player on the injury report practiced in some capacity. But now the biggest question remaining heading into Sunday is whether or not star defensive end Brandon Graham will suit up to play in what could be his last game with the Birds.
Graham (elbow) was a full participant after starting the week off limited, however, he received a questionable designation for Sunday.
While there is no clear answer on his status right now, there are signs that he will play — even if it is a few snaps.
The first and most obvious sign is that Graham was a full participant in Friday's practice.
The next sign is that he is expected to give the pre-game message on Saturday night.
Another sign is that running back Saquon Barkley said Graham's availability for the big game has motivated him and the rest of the Eagles throughout their postseason run.
"The biggest thing I would say about him? How much love he actually has for the Eagles organization and the city of Philadelphia," Barkley said. "You can really see that. You can see it when he's talking about it and he gets emotional.
"That was kind of the key thing for us. When we had the opportunity to get to the Super Bowl, he had the opportunity to play…We wanna see him go out there and put on that Eagles uniform and play for the city he loves so much."
We'll see what pre-game Sunday brings, but for now, it's looking good.
Eagles vs. Chiefs Super Bowl Friday Injury Report Observations
- Defensive tackle Jalen Carter's illness didn't appear to be anything to worry about.
- Starting center Cam Jurgens was forced to play through his back injury during the NFC championship after Landon Dickerson left early due to a knee injury. Both are good to go for Sunday.
- Tight end Dallas Goedert has previously missed practice due to his ankle injury but still played in the NFC championship.
- Linebacker Zack Baun popped up on last week's Friday injury report with a groin injury.
- Wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been on and off the injury report with a hamstring injury for much of the season and has played through it.
- Backup running back Kenny Gainwell suffered a concussion/knee injury during the NFC championship game. It looks like he has cleared the concussion protocol.
- Philly did ass some emergency depth behind Gainwell last week, signing running back Lew Nichols to the practice squad.
- The Eagles ruled out wide receiver Britain Covey's (neck). Rookie cornerback/returner Cooper DeJean will continue to hold his place on the punt return.
- The Eagles opened defensive end Brandon Graham (elbow) and tight end C.J. Uzomah's 21-day practice windows last week.
