For whatever reason, Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher isn't a fan of T.J. Watt.
He went viral last year when he left the Pittsburgh Steelers great off his list of the top five pass rushers in the NFL.
Well, it seems that Parsons has doubled down…
Micah Parsons Still doesn't believe T.J. Watt is one of the best pure pass rushers
“You said a pure pass rusher,” Parsons told Zach Gelb of CBS Sports. “If you look at what I do, what Myles [Garrett] does, we all move around. I play [over the] right tackle, I play [over the] nose, I play [over the] left guard, right guard. If you talk about pure pass rushers, it’s probably a few of us who are in a league of our own, and everyone else is pretty much just high-end rushers. They don’t have versatility. They don’t move around. They don’t create matchups.”
Parsons might be partially correct, but it only hurts his argument even more. Watt does tend to align primarily over the RT. The Steelers have toyed with him switching sides, but for whatever reason, they seem content with him getting chipped, double and triple-teamed on one side.
And yet, Watt is still consistently among the most impactful players in the league, routinely records double-digit sacks, is a forced fumble merchant, and is one of the most clucth players in the league.
A future first-ballot Hall of Famer, at least Parsons knows that Watt will be headed to Canton…
“He is gonna be a Hall of Famer one day,” Parsons added about Watt. “But what I say where the league’s at now, pure pass rusher. I mean, come on bro. I don’t even think it’s close.”
What's ironic about the whole situation, is that Parsons also admitted that if he were to leave the Cowboys, he would like to get closer to home and join the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“I said if I ever returned home, it was going to Pittsburgh,” Parsons told former Steelers CB Bryant McFadden.
Maybe the Steelers can make it happen, and Parsons and Watt can squash whatever beef they have.

It’s a heck of a lot deeper now.
