The New Orleans Saints were massive fans of Tyler Shough. His leadership, accountability, and determination all stood out to them before they took him in round two of this year's draft.

He's already trying to prove the Saints right, before the team's offseason program truly ramps up when it comes to on-field action and preparation.

Shough works out with multiple Saints teammates

The rookie QB has wasted no time getting involved with his new teammates in New Orleans. Young wide receiver Bub Means posted some pictures and videos from a recent workout alongside Shough and some other Saints players.

Some veterans were involved in the sessions alongside Shough, too. Foster Moreau was seen at the field, albeit rec overing from injury. Means also tagged tight end Juwan Johnson in the post, who has a strong relationship with Shough as well.

Shough will most likely have every chance in the world to start for New Orleans. There is some unknown remaining regarding the future of Derek Carr with the team, and it is tough to envision him as the starter this upcoming season.

That leaves Spencer Rattler. The young quarterback has been working really hard this offseason and is hungrier than ever. Kellen Moore had a gleaming review of his work ethic ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

No matter what – it feels like a young gunslinger is set to be the main QB for New Orleans in a season where many folks have low expectations for the team's offense.
