The Minnesota Vikings now have a direction ahead of the 2025 season, as the schedule was released on Wednesday night and the excitement is palpable. It's exciting for many reasons, including the Vikings giving out tattoos to fans on Thursday, May 15th to celebrate the event.

Going into the 2025 season, there is one storyline that everyone is going to be keeping an eye on: How does quarterback J.J. McCarthy play in his first year as the starting quarterback?

One thing that can help McCarthy take a major step forward is building a rapport with his receivers. Understanding how they go about their business is a huge deal, especially when it comes to the onfield product.

Wednesday night saw McCarthy take a step forward in developing that rapport with Justin Jefferson, as they were both seen courtside together at game five of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors playoff series.

Things like this is what separates the Vikings from other organizations. Tight end T.J. Hockenson talked about how ownership encourages the players to build relationships outside the building.

"So that's the best part about this place, dude, is they encourage you to go do stuff outside the building. They encourage you to go hang out outside of the building. And that always translates to Sunday, and that's something that you've got to hear from upstairs. I want you guys to go out. I want you guys to go have fun. I want you guys to live the life, rather than football all the time, and which is, you got to have football. You got to be there when you're there. But to build relationships outside the building with these guys, because I'm communicating with them on Sunday, and I got to make sure that he knows that I got his back, and I know that he got he has mine. So those things are massive, and that's, that's all that we do is build that inside this facility."

Not only did they go to the game together, they got to see the Timberwolves clinch a trip to the Western Conference Finals. That could be a good omen for the Vikings this year.
