It appears the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could have close to a full available roster on Sunday night against the Washington Commanders – at least as close as one could hope for at this point of the season.
Per ESPN insider Adam Schefter Antoine Winfield, Jr., Mike Edwards, Jamel Dean, Logan Hall, and Cade Otton are all expected to play tonight.
All were listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report. However, Todd Bowles revealed that Winfield, Jr. and Dean were good to go while saying Otton was "trending in the right direction". He didn't opine on Hall or Edwards.
Having Winfield, Jr. and Edwards back would be big for a safety group that saw Jordan Whitehead suffer a season-ending injury in a car accident the day before last week's game against New Orleans. Dean's return also helps fortify a secondary that will have their hands full against Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, Zach Ertz, and the potent Commanders passing attack.
Otton, who's been out since suffering a knee injury against the Chargers on December 15, should return and assume his usual role as the team's TE1 and top receiving threat alongside Mike Evans and soaring rookie Jalen McMillan in the Bucs' passing attack.
Tampa Bay and Washington get underway on Sunday night at 8:00 pm ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
