To help us project what will happen on Sunday, we invited Kelsey Kramer, who covers the Eagles for A to Z Sports, to share her perspective about how the Eagles have played.
The Eagles passing offense didn't show much against the Packers. Is it fine?
The Eagles didn't complete a single pass for about two full quarters against the Packers, which should be concerning. They still managed to pull off a win, though it's no secret that the wild card victory had a lot to do with the Eagles' defense. I had said last week that Jalen Hurts wouldn't be rusty after two weeks in concussion protocol, but I was wrong. Hurts may not have brought his A-game against Green Bay, but he did not throw an interception. Now that the rust is shaken off and everyone is once again focused on his passing game, expect this week to look better.
The defense has played at an insane level. How could the Rams attack it?
There are no holes in this Eagles' defense, so it's going to come down to individual matchups. The Eagles are injured at inside linebacker with starter Nakobe Dean now on injured reserve, but their backups are just as solid so they can't even take advantage of that potential weak spot. I think their best bet is trying to take advantage of running the ball any chance they get, because the Eagles will create turnovers in the passing attack. And then LA has to hope whoever they put on Puka Nakua this week won't be able to keep up so they can make plenty of plays there like they did in Week 12.
What's the injury outlook of the Eagles after the wild card round?
For now, we know that the Eagles will be without starting linebacker Nakobe Dean, who is done for the year with a knee injury. Starting cornerback Darius Slay briefly left the Eagles wild card win with an elbow injury but returned to the game.
Matthew Stafford had a strong playoff performance, but it won’t matter against the Eagles for a specific reason
Philly is a different challenge
