The NFL Players Association has released it's third annual Players' All-Pro team, which includes three Baltimore Ravens.

Those players are quarterback Lamar Jackson, linebacker Roquan Smith, and safety Kyle Hamilton. It's another honor for those three guys, who each also made the Pro Bowl. Let's take a look at their stats for the 2024 season.

  • Jackson: 66.7 percent completion percentage, 4,172 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, 915 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns.
  • Smith: 154 total tackles (four for loss), 1.5 sacks, one interception, four passes defensed, one forced fumble.
  • Hamilton: 107 total tackles (four for loss), two sacks, one interception, nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles

The NFLPA has specific rules for the criteria and voting process, beginning with players not being allowed to vote for themselves or their teammates. They can only vote for the the position group they play in and line up against, and a player is not eligible if they have missed five or more games as of Week 15.

With players growing frustrated with how awards and accolades are determined, the NFLPA came up with this formula to try to appease them. The Ravens tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for the most players selected. In Jackson's case specifically, it's another notch in his belt for his case for his third MVP award.

Being chosen by his peers as the best at his position shows the respect Jackson has around the league, especially considering that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the current favorite to win MVP. A case could have also been made for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who led the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns.

The MVP, along with the Associated Press All-Pro selections, will be announced during the NFL Honors just a few days before the Super Bowl.
