The Ohio State Buckeyes don't offer many receivers under Brian Hartline, so when they make an effort, it's notable. The man likely in line to earn the Ohio State offensive coordinator job has quickly recovered after winning the College Football Playoff National Championship and moved on to recruiting.
A top 2026 target is 4-star receiver Brayden Robinson from Red Oak, Texas. The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder is a speed demon who has just set up several key visits. He'll visit Miami from June 6th through the 8th, then Ohio State from the 13th through 15th, and then Notre Dame from the 20 and 22nd.
Robinson is coming off an impressive junior season with Red Oak, where he led the team with 79 receptions for 1,119 yards and 15 touchdowns. Additionally, he served as the team's top punt and kick returner.
Although he is a smaller receiver, standing at 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 160 pounds, Robinson has attracted interest from numerous prominent football programs due to his ability to make big plays.
The Texas native has received offers from a variety of schools, including Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Oregon, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Nebraska, and Penn State, among many others.
247Sports has rated Robinson as the No. 205 overall player and the No. 34 wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class. They also rank him as the No. 32 overall player in Texas, a state known for producing exceptional talent. Similarly, he is ranked as the No. 211 overall player in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
