Ohio State is fresh off of a National Championship win to cap off a great College Football Playoff run for the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame, 34-23, to make it four straight wins in the playoff. It ends a decade streak since the last National Championship that was brought back to Columbus.

Now that the season is over, a number of Buckeyes will have decisions to make. QB Devin Brown entered the transfer portal following the end of the regular season and now a prediction has come in for him to land out west.

Pete Nakos of On3 is predicting that Brown will head to California to play for the Golden Bears. It has long been rumored that Cal could be the spot for Brown since they lost Fernando Mendoza as a transfer to Indiana. Brown was a four-star recruit out of Utah, so going back west is not totally a surprise.

Brown served as the backup quarterback to Will Howard this season and spent three seasons overall in Columbus. Brown attempted 48 passes in 17 career games for the Buckeyes. The junior quarterback has thrown for three touchdowns to one interception in his career.

Julian Sayin is expected to be the Ohio State starter and Brown sticking around to stay another year as a backup was likely never going to happen.

A rather cool move that Brown made was to stay with the team through the College Football Playoff run. Brown very well could have found his next team and had already been on campus elsewhere. Instead, he finished the season in his role as the backup for Ohio State.

Brown will have two years of eligibility remaining and could come to a decision rather soon with the season being over.
